Persisca WebSuite Email on Mac Mail

Exact Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Persisca WebSuite email on the Mail app on your Mac:


Step 1: Open Mail Preferences

  1. Open the Mail app.

  2. From the top menu bar, click MailAdd Account.


Step 2: Choose Account Type

  1. Select Other Mail Account… then click Continue.


Step 3: Enter Basic Account Information

Field Value
Name Your full name (will appear on sent emails)
Email Address yourname@yourdomain.com
Password Your email password

Then click Sign In.
You’ll get a warning that the account couldn’t be verified. This is normal. More fields will appear.


Step 4: Enter Incoming Mail Server Details

Field Value
Email Address yourname@yourdomain.com
Username yourname@yourdomain.com
Password Your email password
Account Type IMAP
Incoming Mail Server mail.yourdomain.com

Make sure the username is the full email address.


Step 5: Enter Outgoing Mail Server Details

Field Value
Outgoing Mail Server mail.yourdomain.com
Username yourname@yourdomain.com
Password Your email password

The outgoing username and password must also be your full email and email password.

Click Sign In again.


Step 6: Choose Apps to Use

When prompted, select Mail (and optionally Notes, if you like).
Click Done.


Step 7: Adjust Advanced Settings (Optional but Recommended)

  1. Go to MailSettings (or Preferences on older macOS).

  2. Select the new account, then go to the Server Settings tab.

  3. Confirm the following:

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP)

  • Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com

  • Port: 993

  • Use TLS/SSL: ✅ Enabled

  • Authentication: Password

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

  • Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com

  • Port: 465

  • Use TLS/SSL: ✅ Enabled

  • Authentication: Password


Step 8: Test

Send a test email to yourself to confirm sending and receiving both work correctly.
